At Ashton Care, our home care services are tailored to each individual's needs, and our pricing reflects that flexibility.
The cost of care depends on the length and frequency of each visit - the longer the call, the lower the hourly rate. This means that extended visits offer better value, making ongoing support more affordable over time.We aim to ensure that every person receives the right level of care at a fair and transparent price.
We encourage you to enquire and arrange assessments with different care companies to get a feel for them and to also check latest inspection reports at www.cqc.org.uk. After initial enquiries will we arrange an assessment when a senior member of our management team will come and visit yourself and/or your loved ones, we will talk you through the services that we are able to offer, this will also give you a chance to ask any questions you may have in regards to the service and care that is required. You can also check various care companies CQC ratings, reviews and information at www.homecare.co.uk
Absolutely! We encourage all our service users and families to give regular feedback so we can ensure the care we are providing continues to meet our service users needs, this also allows us the opportunity to identify areas in which we can improve things for those using our service and their families. There are many ways to give feedback, care reviews are completed 6 weeks after the start of the service to ensure that our service user is happy with the service, and then every 6 months (or sooner if a change occurs) after that. You are also able to request a review at any time. Relatives are also invited to attend the review to be able to give their perspectives of the care.
We also have a telephone line available that will take you directly through to a member of the office team who are always happy to take any feedback given and always available to have discussions or answer questions regarding yours or your loved ones care. We are also happy for you to drop by our office at any time and we would be more that happy to have these discussions face-to-face over a cup of coffee.
As a minimum all staff members have completed a care certificate and all mandatory training, including but not limited to safeguarding, dignity and respect, manual handling and person centred care. We have varying staff members with different levels of NVQ qualifications ranging from level 2 to level 5. We actively encourage our staff to complete NVQs in health and social care.
Of course you can. If you feel that you require a change in the visits you are receiving then simply telephone the office and we can discuss this with you, depending on why the changes are required and what changes are required we may be able to implement this straight away. Where changes are required due to medical/mobility issues we may require another assessment before changes are put in place.
