Abbots Lawn is a 35 bedded nursing home situated in the West of Bognor Regis, a stone’s throw from the seafront, local shops, hairdressers, gardens and Bognor Regis town. The team have a passion for supporting individuals with dementia and who present with what is sometimes referred to as “behaviour that challenges”. At Abbots Lawn this behaviour is seen as a communication tool and the ethos of the home is simple, understand the individual and their communication techniques to support them to live their life to the fullest.

A gradual process is ongoing for designing and changing bedroom décor to align with the latest standards and research around dementia bedrooms. As further research informs better design, the home adapts and changes their designs.
