Our service

Complex Care

What is Complex Care? Complex care supports people with multiple medical conditions, advanced health needs, or challenging combinations of physical and mental health issues requiring specialist knowledge and coordination between healthcare professionals.

Specialist Support for Challenging Conditions Complex care requires specialist knowledge, advanced equipment and experienced staff who understand how multiple conditions interact. We support residents with challenging medical needs including post-surgical recovery, chronic conditions, advanced diabetes management and multiple medication regimes at Abbots Lawn. Our teams coordinate closely with consultants, community nurses and therapists to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of complex conditions. We handle specialist equipment like syringe drivers, provide wound care, manage catheters and stomas and offer the skilled nursing attention that enables people with complex needs to live comfortably and safely.
